Overview of Village Project Marketplace (VPM)
Village Project Marketplace (VPM) was initiated in 2019 but faced challenges that led to its closure. In a new chapter, SpiritWork Development Group LLC (SWDG) has taken on the sponsorship of VPM, marking a revitalization in this season.
Mission and Vision
The mission of SWDG LLC 2nd Annual Retreat is centered around the concept of Radical Hospitality, embodied in the Sankofa Re-Treat. This initiative focuses on gathering the community to support Black-owned small businesses and to practice Ujamaa, which emphasizes cooperative economics.
Participating Vendors
The revival of the Village Project Marketplace under the guidance of SpiritWork Development Group LLC aims to foster community support and economic cooperation among Black-owned businesses.
